Floral wholesaler and farmer Rick Schneider called to say he has an ASV trail groomer for sale with a 100” blade, 102” rear dragger, and about 470 operating hours on its consistently-serviced John Deere turbo diesel motor.
The blog-worthy point: Rick and his girlfriend, both avid snowmobilers, used the ASV on the Great Western Trail near Dekalb to go out to eat on snowy date nights, riding on top its tracks in its 2-seat, heated cab at 11 mph in the vehicle’s high range. That’s not the only use they got out of it—they did a lot of grooming of the Great Western and other popular snowmobile routes for their local club. But it’s the first use Rick mentioned. :-)
Rick’s a trails fan, and in exchange for leading us to imagine how arriving at prom could have been so, so much better than it was, we’re happy to post his sale notice. Need an all-season trail groomer, for work or courting? Call Rick at 630-494-0837, or e-mail ickybad1@aol.com

Thank you Trails for Illinois member Jon Voelz of Vienna, Illinois for the photo. The irony here is that 350 miles north at Trails for Illinois State Headquarters, we’ve yet to have snow on the ground.
Ski it while you got it, Tunnel Hill fans! If you’ve got snow on your trail, send us a picture. Have a great weekend everyone!
